Only one week of all of this left
The end of campaign season is finally in view - and I think we’re all glad for that.
Today marks the final week of the 2024 election season - and I for one am really, really excited the put this election in our rear view mirror. I’m sure you are too. On Nov. 6 you’ll get your YouTube feeds back and your mailboxes will no longer be filled with slanderous lies about me.
With only a week left, I thought we’d go through a handful of ways you can help my campaign in these final days.
Make sure you have a plan to vote, and make sure you’re talking to your friends about voting. Early voting is happening now at the Reno County Clerk’s office, at the corner of 1st and Adams. It’s open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. M-F. On Wednesday, Oct. 30, they’ll be open until 7 p.m., and on Saturday they’ll be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The last day to vote is Tuesday, Nov. 5. You can get all the information you need at https://www.renocountyks.gov/Elections
Be sure to share my content on Facebook and Instagram. We’ve been having a little fun lately with some of our ads - yet there’s nothing funny about what’s at stake in this election. My opponent was brought to Hutchinson by his party bosses and wealthy organizations because if he’s able to take this seat from our community, he’ll do whatever he’s told to do. These wealthy groups have been bankrolling his campaign - and they’re going to want their payback on their investment.
You can follow my personal Facebook and my campaign Facebook. Also, thatguyinhutch is my Instagram handle.
Here are a few of the more notable posts we’ve had in the past week or so…
Use these images as your Facebook Profile or Cover Photos (or both) for this last week of the campaign season. It will help others see your show of support online - sort of like a digital yard sign.
Talk to your friends and neighbors about the importance of voting in local elections. Many of these local races are decided by a handful of votes. We will need everyone who cares about Hutchinson to show up on or before Nov. 5.
Talk to your friends and neighbors about the difference between my positions, experience, dedication, and commitment to our community. Then remind them that my opponent is so committed to our community that he’s signed a 6-month lease.
There’s only 7 days left - and then we can move on with our lives.
We’ll be holding our election night watch party at Sandhills Brewing, starting at 7 p.m. I’d love it if you can swing by to say hi and join in the celebration.
